The DNR is opening up the Echo Point Shooting Range on Thursdays in order to allow Michigan hunters to sight in their firearms for the hunting season. Starting October 13th and ending December 29th - Thursdays will be open for the purpose of sighting in hunting firearms.

After December 29th the shooting range will go back to being closed Monday to Thursday. If you hear shooting on Thursdays do not call the RAP line to report violations - until after December 29th.
