Hi neighbors. We just received our property tax assessment from Allegan Township, and they are saying our 2023 assessed value is +22% vs 2022. This feels ridiculous in a regular year (higher than any increase we have had since we moved here a few years ago), but even worse given the market price has decreased since the Consumers announcements. Wondering if others are seeing a similar increase? We are planning to appeal this with the township and wondering if we might have more power if others are in the same boat.
